Philosophy and Style of Work:

I like to draw people and faces, mostly from live models. I desire to draw interesting figures and faces. Some of my models are poor or homeless; I want my viewers to understand and know I always try to represent my subjects as more than “objects of art” and show them in the most honourable and positive light. Most of all, I try to illustrate my models as a human face in a crowd, so we can recognise ourselves in them too.

I call my fashion designs “wearable art”, as it is an extension of my artwork. My goal is to direct a piece of clothing right from the start, putting colours together to form the spirit of design, so people will know it is a “Kuhu”.
